Distinctive vigorous vine with masses of orange and black flowers. Plant in a hanging basket for something a little different.

FLOWERS

Masses of 5cm wide orange flowers with black throats from early summer to late autumn.

POSITION & USES

Plant in well drained soil in a full sun to part shade position. Fantastic climber to grow over an arbour, trellis or fence. Also suitable for hanging baskets.

CULTIVATION

Support the stems and prune densely packed foliage during early spring.

FERTILISING

Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.

WATER RATING

  • Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
  • Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
  • Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
