(Salvia semiatrata)

Riviera Sage has a long flowering season which extends from late spring into winter. The plant has attractive soft grey green foliage and is a colour point in the garden.

The flowers occur in a series of flushes and have two tone corollas with a deep pink calyx that create a mauve vibrance which stands out from the surrounding plants.

Grows best in a sunny position in a wide range of soil types. Use in a large perennial bed or as an informal hedge.

A light to moderate trim in late autumn will keep it tight and tidy.

Regular applications of Seasol and PowerFeed in spring and summer will keep it looking its best.
