SPECIAL QUALITIES

Riviera Sage has a long flowering season which extends from late spring into winter. The plant has attractive soft grey green foliage and is a colour point in the garden.

FLOWERS

The flowers occur in a series of flushes and have two tone corollas with a deep pink calyx that create a mauve vibrance which stands out from the surrounding plants.

POSITION & USES

Grows best in a sunny position in a wide range of soil types. Use in a large perennial bed or as an informal hedge.

CULTIVATION

A light to moderate trim in late autumn will keep it tight and tidy.

FERTILISING

Regular applications of Seasol and PowerFeed in spring and summer will keep it looking its best.

WATER RATING

  • Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
  • Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
  • Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
