Description

CULTIVATION

Spreading perennial to 30cm with pale mauve flowers in summer. Grow in pot or contain spreading rhizones.

FLAVOUR

Mild spearmint flavour with some subtle spicy overtones. The ginger in its name refers more to the yellow leaves rather than any overt ginger flavour.

LANDSCAPE

Striking yellow variegation adds interest to herb gardens. To maintain yellow variegation periodically cut back, fertilise heavily and keep well watered.
