SPECIAL QUALITIES
A spreading form of the traditional Baby’s Breath that is excellent for low growing perennial beds and rockeries.
FLOWERS
Delightful white flowers cover the bush in early to mid summer.
POSITION & USES
An open and sunny position with well drained high calcium soil is preferred. Gypsophila should be lightly trimmed after flowering. Plant amongst other low shrubs, as a border or in a rockery for a splash of white or can be used as a tub specimen.
CULTIVATION
In the heat of summer give an occasional deep watering but do not over water in cooler months.
FERTILISING
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
WATER RATING
- Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
- Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
- Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
