A very hardy medium shrub with masses of lightly perfumed mauve blue flowers that attract birds and butterflies.
Large flower spikes in summer.
POSITION & USES
As screening plant, small hedge or specimen plant in cottage garden. Does well in sunny position and tolerates coastal planting.
Give medium prune after flowering or when plant is too large.
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best and growing well.
- Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
- Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
- Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
