SPECIAL QUALITIES
The ultimate weed suppressing ground cover of luxuriant foliage & masses of spring flowers. Chocolate Chip forms a dense mat of chocolate leaves that quickly colonise the ground.
FLOWERS
The densely produced pagoda-like spikes of deep blue flowers cover the plants in mid spring.
POSITION & USES
Excellent for a shady, moist spot, or in full sun given adequate watering. Great as a border plant or massed as a weed suppressing ground cover that will tolerate limited foot traffic.
CULTIVATION
Easily grown in a wide range of soils. Its only demand is some summer watering. Trim back in late winter if needed.
FERTILISING
Regular applications of Seasol and PowerFeed will keep it looking its best.
WATER RATING
- Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
- Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
- Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
