Partners well with most salad vegetables and the strong flavours in stewed fruit and fruit cake.

Add fresh young leaves to salads, add candied leaves to deserts or fresh leaves to tart fruit for sweetening. The stems can be baked or mashed and the crushed roots can be made into tea which was used by traditional herbalists for colds, coughs and bronchial trouble.
Landscaping/Planting
Angelica is a tall and stately plant with large flower heads that attract insect predators. It likes shady positions in a traditional type cottage or perennial garden.
Cultivation/Fertiliser
Angelica requires a constantly moist garden and quite low light conditions. Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
