Ingredients

  • 1 kg chosen vegetables
  • 1 large potato
  • 1 onion or 2 shallots
  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 2 teaspoons stock powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped thyme
  • Salt & pepper
  • 225 grams butter
  • 60 grams butter
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (optional)

Method

Put fist 6 ingredients in saucepan, cook until soft, remove and blend.

Return to stove and stir in cream, butterand cheese.

Garnish with chopped chives.
