CULTIVATION

Herbaceous perennial to 40 cm high x 50 cm wide. Needs excellent drainage as it does not like wet feet.

COOKING

True French Tarragon has a medium aniseed flavour and leaves the tongue warm and a little numb. It must be used as fresh as possible as the flavour dissipates very quickly after picking. Tarragon is a star in the food firmament.
