(Salvia ‘Romantic Rose’)
A spreading perennial shrub with stunning silver foliage that tolerates hot/dry and makes an eye catching border. Originates from Argentina.
Buttons of soft yellow, daisy like flowers are produced on short stems in mid summer.
POSITION & USES
Plant as a border to a traditional low perennial or herb garden, part of a colourful annual bed or in large pots on the veranda. Prefers a sunny, moist but well drained soil. Doesn’t like humid wet conditions.
Give it a light trim in autumn and remove spent flower heads. This form of Dusty Miller requires little attention.
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed from spring to late summer will keep it looking its best and growing well.
