(Senecio cineraria ‘Cirrus’)
A mounding perennial shrub with stunning silver foliage that makes an eye catching border.
Heads of yellow, daisy-like flowers are occasionally produced on short stems in mid summer.
POSITION & USES
Plant as a border to a traditional low perennial or herb garden, part of a colourful annual bed or in large pots on the veranda. Prefers a sunny, moist but well drained soil.
Other than a light trim and removing spent flower heads (if they occur) Cirrus requires little attention.
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed from spring to late summer will keep it looking its best and growing well.
