SPECIAL QUALITIES
New Dimension Blue has deep green, aromatic foliage. The compact and bushy habit makes good borders and the blooms last for many months.
FLOWERS
Intense violet blue spikes rise above the foliage and add a splash of colour over late spring and summer.
POSITION & USES
Plant in a sunny position in normal garden soil that is not wet. Ideal in the front of a bed or as a border plant. New Dimension Blue looks great in large groups mixed with other perennials such as Penstemon, Achillea and Lavender. Well suited for pot culture.
CULTIVATION
Cut back spent flowers to produce an extended flowering season. Cut back again in early autumn to produce a tight bush ready for fresh spring growth.
FERTILISING
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
WATER RATING
- Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
- Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
- Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
