Description
(Dactylis glomerata)
An easy to grow grass that will aid your pets’ health and nutrition. Flavours/Food Partners: Plant and grow with other cat herbs like Cat Mint and Catnip or with general non-culinary herbs.
Health/Cooking/Medicinal
Just like humans, your pets need some nutritional supplements. Pet Grass will assist in the provision of essential vitamins and minerals. It is especially good for dogs and cats although many birds also like it. For house bound animals it will help balance their diet.
Landscaping/Planting
Pet Grass grows well in most garden positions but prefers a moist, well drained soil. Can also be grown indoors in pots on the window sill and in trays on the balcony. It needs good light and a well drained potting mix.
Cultivation/Fertiliser
Regular applications of Seasol and PowerFeed will keep the plants healthy and growing well.
