A bushy perennial with fine serrated leaves and abundant pink tubular flowers.
The mid pink, tubular florers are smaller than many penstemons but are produced abundantly along upright stems from spring until winter.
POSITION & USES
Pensterrwn ‘Evelyn’ prefers a sunny position and well prepared soil that doesn’t get boggy. Use it in a shrub or perennial bed towards the front. Penstemons are good value plants that contribute to the garden for most of the year.
Prune to a shrubby framework about 25cm from the ground before growth begins in spring.
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
