A colourful shrub from South Africa that brightens up the garden, balcony or patio.
FLOWERS
Clusters of bright red, deep pink or white flowers from spring to autumn.
POSITION & USES
Use as a trailing shrub for hanging baskets, terraces and large pots. Prefers a full sun position in a wide range of soils and potting mixes.
CULTIVATION
Remove spent flower stems and the plant will flower again an again. Prune well in mid spring or mid autumn.
FERTILISING
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
WATER RATING
- Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
- Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
- Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
