SPECIAL QUALITIES
This plant is one of the best edging plants available. It is tough, attractive and long flowering.
FLOWERS
The blue-mauve flowers appear in late spring and into summer and after pruning again in the autumn.
POSITION & USES
Plant in a sunny or lightly shaded position. It is an ideal edge to a bed or long path which looks fantastic. It can also be used in block planting in perennial beds.
CULTIVATION
Plant in well cultivated and drained soil and cut back to the clump after each flowering.
FERTILISING
Regular applications of Seasol and PowerFeed will keep it looking its best.
WATER RATING
- Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
- Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
- Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
