SPECIAL QUALITIES
This is a fast and easily grown, native groundcover suited to a range of conditions. Grows on banks where it will bind soil and in coastal gardens. Dry tolerant, requiring very little watering.
FLOWERS
The small pink star-shaped flowers cover the plant from late spring.
POSITION & USES
This versatile groundcover prefers the sun but will tolerate shade for part of the day. It will grow in a wide range of soil types. Particularly useful on banks where it will stabilise the soil.
CULTIVATION
Easily grown with little care. Will respond to a spring feed of Blood and Bone.
FERTILISING
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
WATER RATING
- Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
- Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
- Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
