SPECIAL QUALITIES

An attractive perennial lavender with grey green, fem-like foliage.

FLOWERS

The purplish blue flowers spikes are carried above the foliage for most of the year.

POSITION & USES

Plant in a full sun position with ample air movement. Dry and seaside tolerant when established. Must have excellent drainage and is an ideal addition for rockeries, borders and containers.

CULTIVATION

Prune after main flowering period to maintain a compact shape and apply deep watering during extended dry periods.

FERTILISING

Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed and an annual feed with lime will keep it looking its best.

WATER RATING

  • Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
  • Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
  • Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
