SPECIAL QUALITIES
A plant with attractive variegated foliage of silver-white with a green edging that lightens and lifts shady areas.
FLOWERS
The short, upright, pink, candle-like flowers appear throughout the year.
POSITION & USES
Can be mass planted as ground cover under ttees or on the shady side of buildings or as a rambling edging along a shady path. Likes moist and well drained soil.
CULTIVATION
Lamiums will grow in any good garden soil that is not allowed to dry out in hot weather. Trim back leading stems in winter to keep the foliage dense.
FERTILISING
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
WATER RATING
- Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
- Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
- Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
