SPECIAL QUALITIES
An easy care plant that will flower through the year in mild climates. It provides a striking display of deep purple flowers with a vanilla fragrance.
FLOWERS
Large slightly domed heads of purplish flowers a1most smother the deeply veined, deep green foliage.
POSITION & USES
A sunny or lightly shaded position is preferred. Lord Roberts fits in well with low growing shrubs and perenials.
CULTIVATION
Easily grown in good garden soil with added organic matter; trim when necessary to keep a tidy shape.
FERTILISING
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed especially after pruning will keep it looking its best.
WATER RATING
- Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
- Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
- Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
