Use
This is another of those versatile herbs that have as many uses as the imagination. The seeds have a strong flavour and are widely used in Indian and Middle eastern dishes. They also produce good sprouts. The young leaves are used in salads, sandwiches and as a general green vegetable. Fresh and ground seeds are reported to be excellent in control of cholesterol, assist in managing diabetes and help in milk production for breast feeding mothers.
