Californian Poppies are wonderful free flowering plants with attractive foliage.

FLOWERS

The single red flowers appear throughout spring and in summer and autumn with new young plants.

POSITION & USES

A versatile plant that thrives in a wide range of conditions but prefers a sunny position and dryer soil. Use with other dry tolerant plants such as Limonium, Euphorbia and succulents.

CULTIVATION

Little cultivation needed other than an occasional summer watering.

FERTILISING

Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.

WATER RATING

  • Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
  • Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
  • Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
