The Chinese or Perennial Forget-Me-Not forms a small, compact and upright plant that is long flowering and self seeds easily in the garden.
FLOWERS
Pure blue flowers over spring and summer.
POSITION & USES
Plant in almost any garden position but full shade. Use as a border plant or scatter through a cottage garden bed to give splashes of blue through spring and summer.
CULTIVATION
Easy to grow in most soils but needs regular moisture during the heat of summer. Trim back at the end of the season to keep the plant tidy.
FERTILISING
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
WATER RATING
- Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
- Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
- Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
