(Aster novi-belgii ‘Professor Anton Kippenberg’ )
Professor Kippenbcrg is one of the best low growing asters. It provides a good ground cover when not in flower and in autumn a generous display of flowers.
The flowers are typical daisy-like aster flowers in an attractive mauve-blue.
POSITION & USES
Asters prefer a sunny position. Plant at the front of a bed with other perennials or ground covers.
Easily grown in any reasonable garden soil. Cut flowering stems to the ground at the end of the season. Divide if necessary after several years.
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best and growing well.
- Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
- Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
- Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
