A unique perennial selected for its highly ornamental foliage. The silky silvery foliage is soft and aromatic. On hot windy days this plant seems to glisten as the silvery foliage moves in the breeze and releases the sage-like scent.
Inconspicuous small yellow flowers.
POSITION & USES
Plant in a full sun position. Tolerant of dry conditions once established. Silver-white foliage provides excellent contrast to flowering plants and green foliage in rock gardens, wildflower gardens, border fronts and herb gardens. Good selection for areas with poor dry soils. Does not like alkaline soils.
Foliage may be lightly trimmed in spring and summer to shape, but avoid pruning too hard in autumn.
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best and growing well.
