(Anemone hybrid ‘Japonica’)
An exceptional Japanese Windflower with petals of deep cerise-pink that fade to lighter pink at the edges.
POSITION & USES
Anemones prefer lighter shade and protection from hot winds and adequate soil moisture. Grow them under high trees or on the shady sides of buildings. Watering is essential in hot weather. They make the best impression in a massed planting.
Good quality garden loam with plenty of organic material is preferable. Mulch plants and water adequately in dry weather. Cut the plant to the ground in winter when it is dormant. They die down in winter, when they can be divided up and spread throughout the garden.
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
