SPECIAL QUALITIES
A quick growing, upright dwarf variety that is easy to grow and has green feathery foliage and large heads of flat reddish fading through to orange flowers.
FLOWERS
Heads of yellow, orange and aging to red flowers at the same time on short stems from mid to late summer. Can be used in floral arrangements.
POSITION & USES
Plant in almost any position in the herb or perennial garden in full sun in a general soil. Butterfly attracting.
CULTIVATION
Remove spent flower heads and prune after flowering to encourage new growth.
FERTILISING
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed from spring to late autumn will keep it looking its best and growing well.
WATER RATING
- Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
- Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
- Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
