(Coreopsis grandiflora ‘Uptick Red’)
A quick growing and long flowering perennial that bears masses of flowers over a long period. A good cut flower.
POSITION & USES
Plant in full sun in moist well drained garden soil. Suited to cottage gardens, as large blocks of colour in perennial and mixed beds and in containers.
CULTIVATION
Remove spent flower heads and prune after flowering to encourage new growth. Although Coreopsis tolerate periods of dryness flowers will last longer if the plants are watered in long dry periods. Remove dead flower heads.
FERTILISING
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed from spring to late autumn will keep it looking its best and growing well.
