SPECIAL QUALITIES

A strongly flavoured herb that is used sparingly in Eastern European cuisine. This variety has attractive grey green foliage with lemon yellow variegation.

FLOWERS

Small white flowers summer and autumn.

POSITION & USES

Plant in a full sun position. Tolerant of dry conditions once established. Green and white foliage provides excellent contrast to flowering plants and green foliage in the cottage garden, border fronts and herb gardens. Good selection for areas with poor dry soils.

CULTIVATION

Cut back in autumn, after flowering to keep the bushes tight and growing well.

FERTILISING

Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best and growing well.

WATER RATING

  • Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
  • Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
  • Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
