SPECIAL QUALITIES

A colourful shrub that is easy to grow and brightens up the garden, balcony or patio.

FLOWERS

Clusters of 4cm violet pink flowers from summer to autumn.

POSITION & USES

Use as a border plant for the cottage garden, in large patio pots or in the old fashioned window box. Prefers a full sun position in well drained soils and potting mixes.

CULTIVATION

Remove spent flower stems and the plant will flower again and again. Prune well in mid spring or mid autumn.

FERTILISING

Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.

WATER RATING

  • Red can = Little water in hot, dry weather.
  • Green can = Deep watering every few weeks in hot, dry weather.
  • Blue can = Deep watering weekly in hot, dry weather.
