Flavours/Food Partners
Garlic, oregano, dill, thyme basil and savoury. Enhances salads, sauces and southern European dishes where an olive flavour is desired.
Health/Cooking/Medicinal
An easy to use herb that enhances other herbs and flavours. It should be added just prior to serving or early in the cooking. Excellent as a garnish to salads, main courses and appetisers. The feathery foliage needs some trialing due to variations in the strength of the flavour. Harvest regularly, the more you harvest it the better the bush looks.
Landscaping/Planting
This quick growing herb likes fertile moist soil in part to full sun. Will grow well in any veggie garden and makes an excellent low border. Harvest regularly and it should last years.
Cultivation/Fertiliser
Harvest/prune regularly to keep a nice compact hedge and give regular applications of Seasol and Powerfeed to keep the plant healthy and producing well.
