A very hardy large shrub with masses of large mauve flower spikes of lightly perfumed flowers that attract birds and butterflies.

POSITION & USES

As screening plant, small hedge or specimen plant in cottage gardens. Does well in a sunny position and tolerates coastal planting. Suitable for cut flowers.

CULTIVATION

Give a medium prune after flowering or when plant is too large.

FERTILISING

Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
