Convolvulus sabatius

Description

(Convolvulus sabatius)

A tough, attractive, evergreen groundcover or trailer producing flowers in abundance.

POSITION & USES

Grows best in a sunny position in a wide range of soil types. Use as a groundcover where its spreading habit won’t encroach on other plants. Excellent on a bank where it will put down roots along the stems, or trailing over a retaining wall. Also suited to hanging baskets and containers.

CULTIVATION

Easy to grow. A little fertiliser in spring will keep it lush. Cut off running stems as necessary and prune hard after flowering.

FERTILISING

Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
