Green Chile Chutney
Yield 4 cups.
- 1 kg Green Jalapeno or all Anaheim and a few Japapeno chillies. roasted, peeled and diced.
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon roasted ground oregano
- 2/3rds cup of cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Mix all together and cook 10 to 15 minutes over medium heat in an enamel or stainless steel pan.
- Allow to cool and serve cold.
