Basil Bush (Ocimum minimum)
Bush basil is much smaller than its sweet basil cousin, because of its small size bush basil can easily be grown indoors in pots.
Prefers well drained sunny position in the garden or in large pots. Can be kept on a sunny kitchen windowsill for easy access. It is a tender plant that needs to be kept warm.
To enjoy maximum flavour pick and add leaves just prior to serving. Bush Basil has cinnamon, clove and aniseed aromas. It has a milder flavour than Basil Sweet.
|Harvest||Regularly, the more you harvest the more it will produce. If kept warm and harvested often you may even get 10 months worth of Basil leaves.|
